Our product, ArmaGrid® , vary as biaxial and uniaxial, polyester (PET) and polypropylene (PP) geogrids.
Our geogrid performance properties are easily identifiable to specify for use on projects of all types in all construction sectors such as;
ArmaGrid® BX (PET): This biaxial PET knitted geogrid is made from high-tenacity polyester yarns. It was developed by geotechnical engineers to support shallow embankments, foundations or heavily loaded platforms on soft ground. This geogrid improves load distribution in two directions, maintains structural integrity and reduces differential settlements.
ArmaGrid® BX (PP): This biaxial geogrid is produced by precision punching of PP sheets. This geogrid does not react with chemicals normally found in soil, including acids, alkalis and salts, and is not affected by the presence of microorganisms in the soil.
ArmaGrid® UX (PET): Knitted polyester type uniaxial geogrid provides tensile reinforcement capacity in one direction. This geogrid solution is best suited for challenging soil reinforcement applications such as steep slopes, foundation reinforcement and foundation improvements where even load distribution and settlement control on backfill platforms are required.
ArmaGrid® UX (PP): This high-strength uniaxial geogrid is produced by stretching high-quality perforated PP sheets in a controlled manner in one direction. It has high performance features. With a tensile strength of up to 300KN/m and biological durability, it is perfect for reinforcing soft soils or constructing embankments and slopes with temporary or permanent reinforcement.
