TECHSPAN


- TechSpan® is a precast concrete arch system associating three-pin curve shaped arches

- Male and female arch segments are designed so that optimum amounts of concrete and steel bars are consumed.


- Span of the arches ranges from about 3m to 20m.

- Height of the arch ranges from about 30% to 70% of the span.

- Arch thickness is in range of 200mm to 500mm.

  • CONSTRUCTION SEQUENCE

  • Each segment is produced in steel moulds with optimum amounts of concrete and rebars determined by finite elements analysis,
  • They are removed from the moulds, stocked and delivered to the site at time of erectionPrizini aldıktan sonra kalıptan alınır, Stoklanır, montaj zamanı sahaya iletilir.
  • The chosen foundation type is applied to the site and the erection of the segments start.
  • Each segment lifted by crane and staggered to rest against half of the opposite segment
  • Simple repetitive installation with 4 to 6 man crew, surveyor and one crane.
  • All joints are covered with impermeable membrane
  • After insulation, The arch is backfilled in stages to design height.
  • Filling must be done correlatively so as to get a homogenous load distribution

  • When the fill reaches to top of arches a cast-in-place, reinforced concrete longitudinal beam is formed at the crown.
  • The filling continues till the design level.
